Women’s History 

Veteran, Author, & WOMAN! 

Throughout American history, women have served a vital role in defending and protecting our freedom. The Women’s Armed Services Integration Act was signed in 1948, officially cementing women’s right to serve in all four branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. Today over 227,000 women serve on Active Duty. I am honored to highlight a few of those women who have fought to ensure our nation’s security while writing some incredible stories along the way. From Sci-Fi to Romance, Children’s books to Memoirs honoring their brothers and sisters in arms, they have created some inspiring reading.
