Graciela Martinez-Katz, author name GM Katz, is a retired US Air Force Veteran. It was through her experiences during her 20 years of service and traveling all over the world in countless campaigns that she began to envision many of her stories. Still a part of the military life, she and her husband love to travel, drink wine, and enjoy the great outdoors with their dog, Simon.

My Review
Secrets of the Sun Stone
Secrets of the Sun Stone was an impressive debut for military veteran author GM Katz. The story weaves a nonfiction world of historic leaders, battles and events with a world of mythology, fantasy and mystery. As we dive into the characters’ stories, not everything is as it seems to be. This book is a cliff hanger in the three part series, but fortunately the next book is already available. I Look forward to transversing the past with the multidimensional characters of “Secrets of the Sun Stone”.
In addition to enjoying this novel for myself, I felt this book would also be an appropriate young adult novel, however I have not read the rest of the series yet so I cannot gauge beyond book one.
Unpredictable Stars
G.M Katz has a gift for creating scenes and storylines that compel readers to feel invested in. “Unpredictable Stars” has the familiarity of a top-tier contemporary romance combined with Katz’s signature plot twists that keep you turning page after page. GM Katz’s author voice is clearly established with the release of her third book, with impassioned romance, harrowing obstacles and mythological hooks this book has the potential to continue it’s life as a series reminiscent of her debut “Secrets of the Sun Stone”. GM Katz is a talented story-teller, who consistently produces indie books of high quality. I am looking forward to seeing if we get to meet Mora, Owen and their band of friends in a future story.
Curse of the Blade
The release of “The Curse of the Blade” feels like GM Katz has completed a progressive transition into the world of romance novels. With a nod to her signature magical twists, the heart of this book is a magnetic love story that fuels the characters to press forward to test whether together they can conquer the mysteries plaguing them or will their deep connection make them more vulnerable than ever before.
Full of passion and discovery, “The Curse of the Blade” was a fast and enjoyable read, perfect addition to the beach bag!
