Dr. Latonya Peterson has written six Children’s Books with her husband, Manswell T Peterson, US Navy Retired. All of the books support social emotional learning and exciting adventures. They also have awesome life lessons.

Latonya has worked as a Student Services Director, Victim’s Advocate, and Business Developer in academia. She is currently a Criminal Justice Professor at American InterContinental University. She has been teaching for 18 years. She is also an adjunct professor for Business, Management, and Leadership at other schools.

Latonya has two sons, Manswell II and Braylen. She is on several educational and community boards. Latonya is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
